Call for Independent Media

For the last 49 years, on the anniversary and at the exact time of the assassination of John Kennedy, researchers have held a moment of silence on the grassy knoll of Dealey Plaza in Dallas to remember JFK.  The Mayor of Dallas has indicated that this year, 2013, on the 50th anniversary of President John Kennedy's assassination the city will cordon off Dealey Plaza to instead hold its own ceremonies.  Those ceremonies will no doubt be choreographed to exclude the message that most Americans know - that President Kennedy was killed as the result of a conspiracy.  In addition, banners & signs will not be allowed in the area.  There will no doubt be a heavy police presence to protect a carefully scripted event and to stifle the message that a conspiracy killed our president despite the fact the the House Select Committee on Assassinations has already acknowledged that fact.  Since the mainstream media has shown that is will not present the position of researchers in an unbiased way, we call on independent media to come to Dallas to document the city administration's denial of free speech and free assembly - rights enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.  In a way, the denial of those rights is symbolic of what President Kennedy's murder was all about - a coup against U.S. democracy, the ultimate violation of the Constitution.
